Sunny Psychology Maroochydore

Assessment & Report Fees

Assessment sessions takes places after the intake phase has been finalised and the needs of the client have been clarified. The assessment sessions consist of sessions with the client (and/or their parents) and time is set aside to score, analyse and interpret the results.

A report is recommended when a diagnosis is made (this is not always the case), so that the report can be provided to teachers, other clinicians and for future reference in case of ongoing treatment. Medicare currently does not provide rebates for cognitive assessments or psychological reports.

The fees below are per the 1st of January 2024.

* An ADHD or ASD assessment includes a cognitive assessment (unless one had been performed within twelve months prior).

** Although Sunny Psychology assesses cognitive functioning, we do not provide a diagnosis for Learning Disorders as this requires additional testing. When symptoms are suggestive of a type of Learning Disorder, a referral to a (neuro)psychologist on the Sunshine Coast will be provided.

*** The fee for the NDIS Access Report depends on the complexity of the client’s disability. The fee for the NDIS Review Report depends on the number of assessments performed, the number of goals evaluated and the complexity of the client’s disability. Report writing is charged per hour.
